Chilling in Ladakh…

…where it is 36 degrees. Celsius, people.

And where the power just went out in the internet cafe, and I lost everything I typed. Which was luckily not much.

Anyway, today we went to a village called Chilling, and we’re going back tomorrow to see the processing of pashmina from their goats. So far this flatlander is doing fine with the altitude, just a headache yesterday when we were driving across all the passes (including the 2nd highest in the world). I have lots more to tell, but am going to keep this short in case we lose power again…
